Freeze Watch until 09:00AM Saturday
Canadian high pressure at the surface will settle across the area tonight. Temperatures late tonight and early Saturday morning will fall into the lower 30s and upper 20s for a few hours. Some patchy frost may also develop within the Freeze Warning area. The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a Freeze Watch, which is in effect from late tonight through Saturday morning.
* TEMPERATURE...Falling to between 30 and 32 degrees by sunrise Saturday. Locations within the immediate DFW Metroplex will likely remain just above freezing, but outer lying locales of the Metroplex may fall to around 30-31 degrees. Temperatures will rise above freezing by mid-morning Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Sensitive outdoor plants will be susceptible to the freezing conditions and should be brought indoors or protected. If sprinklers are left on, freezing of water on sidewalks and roads may occur.
* AFFECTED AREAS: RAINS ... TARRANT ... HOPKINS ... KAUFMAN ... ROCKWALL ... DALLAS

freezing temperatures are possible. These conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation that remain outdoors. In addition, make sure outdoor animals have shelter from the expected cold temperatures Saturday morning.
