...Lake Effect Snow Will Continue To Impact The Southwest LowerMichigan and North Central Indiana
At 828 PM EST, several bands of lake effect snow were located over
southwest Lower Michigan and the north central Indiana.

Locations impacted include South Bend, Elkhart, Mishawaka, Goshen, Niles, Sturgis, Benton
Harbor, St. Joseph, Three Rivers, Nappanee, Dowagiac, Buchanan,
Georgetown, Lagrange, Granger, Dunlap, Simonton Lake, Gulivoire Park,
Benton Heights and Fair Plain.

This includes the following highways Interstate 196 between mile markers 0 and 7.
Interstate 80 in Indiana between mile markers 62 and 132.
Interstate 94 in Michigan between mile markers 0 and 42.

Icy roads will continue to be a problem...especially on overpasses
and elevated roadways as the snow melts on the roads then quickly
refreezes.

Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra
time when traveling.
