Deputies arrest Jack Grossman from Running Springs for Sexual Battery

SUSPECT: Jack Grossman, age 54 a resident of Running Springs
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On November 10, 2018, at approximately 11:20 a.m. deputies received a report of a sexual battery which occurred in the Community of Running Springs. The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Twin Peaks Station, responded and investigated the sexual assault. Through investigation it was determined Grossman sexually battered the victim against her will.
Deputies contacted Jack Grossman and found he had outstanding warrants for his arrest and was wanted on a parole violation.
Jack Grossman was found to be on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS), as part of California Assembly Bill 109. He was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for the above charge and for violating the terms of his PRCS. He is being held with no bail.
As part of Governor Jerry Brown’s Realignment Plan or AB109, to comply with a U.S. Supreme Court decision requiring the state to lower its prison population by 30,000. Offenders with nonviolent, non-sexual, and non-serious convictions will serve reduced sentences in county jail and be placed on local supervision through county probation.
