With Snow Expected, St. Peters Delays Trash Service and Urges Residents to Move Cars from Streets
With accumulating snow likely, the City of St. Peters has delayed trash service for Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018. Please do not place trash carts out for Thursday service in St. Peters. Trash collection will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week. Normal trash collection for Thursday will occur on Friday. Normal Friday collection will occur on Saturday. Residents are also urged to park their cars on their driveways rather than on the street during the snow storm.
By moving obstructions such as cars and trash carts from the street, ice and snow removal crews can work more effectively and safely to treat and clear our roads.
Snow and ice removal crews are working today, Wednesday, Nov. 14, to pre-treat all roads in St. Peters with chemicals before winter weather arrives.
Snow and ice removal operations will continue as needed during the storm.
The Senior Advisory Committee also has cancelled its meeting on Thursday, Nov. 15, due to the weather forecast. The meeting was moved to Nov. 29.
