Due to a gas leak in the 800 block of S. State St., State St is closed between 7th St and 10th St. 9th St is closed between Madison St and Canal Rd. Please use Madison St and Canal Rd as the primary detour routes.
The leak is anticipated to be repaired by 7:00 PM tonight. Roads will remain closed until the leak is contained. Motorists should avoid the area if possible.
