A 17 year old female was arrested following a pursuit

LOCATION: Northbound Interstate 15 Freeway and Yermo Road, Yermo
SUSPECT: 17 year old female juvenile of Las Vegas, NV
SUMMARY:
On November 19, 2018, at approximately 10:51 am, Deputy Cody Dare attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a green 1999 Honda Accord traveling northbound on the Interstate 15 Freeway. The driver increased the speeds of the vehicle to over 100 miles an hour in an attempt to evade Dare. The driver continued to violate numerous vehicle codes, and passed several emergency vehicles which were stopped on the freeway without regard to the safety of the emergency personnel. After approximately fifteen miles, the vehicle yielded near Field Road and the occupants were taken into custody without incident.
The driver, a 17-year-old female juvenile, had been reported as a missing person in Las Vegas on November 18, 2018. The juvenile was arrested for evading a peace officer and transported to the High Desert Juvenile Detention and Assessment Center.
