Blizzard like conditions are likely across our county beginning as early as 3AM Sunday and throughout the day Sunday. Prepare to stay indoors and please do not travel.

Expect the forecast to change as the storm draws closer. Winter storms are very hard to predict. As it draws closer the NWS will adjust their expected snow totals and locations to reflect changes they observe.
It is expected that CY County will remain in the area of concern regardless of the amount of snowfall.
The main threat with this storm will be very high winds, blowing snow and near zero visibility possible in some locations.
Please prepare to stay indoors. Please do not plan to travel on Sunday. Conditions in the western parts of the state and in Nebraska will begin to deteriorate Saturday. Plan your travel accordingly and check local conditions before you travel
