Update: It has been determined that the loud series of reports heard very early this morning in the Northlake and Bishops Bay Neighborhoods were the result of large fireworks being set off in the area. We are very appreciative of the many people who have contacted us to help bring this concern to a close.

On 11/23/18 at 1:59am Middleton Police received numerous calls about shots being fired in the area of Hwy Q and Indigo Way. The calls came from the Northlake and Bishops Bay Neighborhoods.

Through investigation, we were able to determine that multiple gunshots had occurred during the early morning hours.

This incident is still under investigation.
