On November 24, 2018, at approximately 3:50 PM, a residence in the 13600 block of Donny Brook Lane was burglarized. Suspicious activity was witnessed as two males unknown to the neighborhood were seen entering the backyard of a residence and later seen entering a vehicle occupied by a third suspicious male. The witness was able to provide a detailed description of the suspects and contacted the police. Ventura County Sheriff’s Deputies from the Moorpark Police Station located the suspect’s vehicle and after an enforcement stop was attempted, the suspects fled, driving recklessly. Due to the dangers of the reckless driving, the pursuit was cancelled. Ventura County Sheriff’s Deputies from the Thousand Oaks Police Station found the suspect’s abandoned vehicle near Avenida De Los Arboles and the 23 Freeway. The suspects fled from the vehicle into a nearby park, where deputies located all three suspects, with the support of the Sheriff’s helicopter, and took them into custody. The vehicle driven by the suspects was later determined to be stolen.
