Full Notification

The Nixle Weather Alerts are sent out as an automatic notification for severe weather through the National Weather Service. We apologize for notifications received through the early morning hours but in cases of severe weather these notifications could save lives. 

In an effort to keep our streets safe and help our Public Works clear them quicker please do not park on village roadways during snow events.  As a reminder, it is against village ordinance to park on the streets anytime there is 2" or more of snowfall!  Vehicles left on the streets may be ticketed and/or towed.  

Let's give our Public Works a hand and keep our roadways clear until the snow has been removed! Also, remember do not block sidewalks and if you must travel during a snowstorm, drive safely.
