Effective Immediately: Camp Fire Burn Ban and Residential Debris Burn Ban have both been lifted in the Truckee area
Yard debris burning of 4' x 4' vegitation is only allowed on certain days and during daylight hours. Contact your Air Quality Management District prior to burning yard debris.
Property owners wanting to burn yard debris MUST have a valid burn permit and verify it is a permissive burn day prior to burning.

Residential wood camp fires are now allowed. Please burn responsibly. Never burn on windy days at any time of the year.
