SUMMARY:
On November 25, 2018, deputies from the Barstow Sheriff’s Station responded to the Shell Gas Station on Sunrise Canyon Road after witnesses called Sheriff’s dispatch to report a male customer seemed intoxicated. Deputies arrived at approximately 2:10 A.M. and observed the driver leaving the parking lot in a gray 2004 BMW sedan. Deputies conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as Gregory Harris, who was currently on probation out of Los Angeles.
Harris had symptoms consistent with being under the influence but refused to comply with the deputies’ commands to exit the vehicle.
