Sandbags available for Chula Vista residents Wednesday and Thursday 
Rain is predicted for Thursday and the City of Chula Vista is planning accordingly. Chula Vista residents may obtain up to 10 free sandbags at the Public Works Center located at 1800 Maxwell Road. Sandbags will be available from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28 and Thursday, November 29. Proof of residency is required.
Sandbags are not available at any Chula Vista Fire Station.
As a reminder to all drivers, if your wipers are on, your headlights must be on. And please do not attempt to drive through flooded areas.
