NO waves observed in Kodiak or Seward - areas originally covered by the Tsunami Warning.
UPDATE:
Two of the areas originally covered by the Tsunami Warning (Kodiak and Seward) have reported that they have NOT observed any waves.
The Tsunami Warning Center is expected to issue another update around 10:00 am.
At approximately 0829 hours on Friday, November 30, a magnitude 7.2 earthquake originated about 30 miles SW of Palmer. This event prompted an Emergency Notification.
At this time the National Tsunami Warning Center has clarified that the Tsunami Warning is in effect for the Coastal Areas of Cook Inlet and Southern Kenai Peninsula.
AT THIS TIME there is no tsunami warning in effect for Valdez.
