Gulf Road between Hilliard Road and Whitman Boulevard continues to be closed for roadway improvements. Beginning Wednesday, December 5th, 2018 at 9:00am, new local traffic restrictions will be implemented during the retaining wall construction. The retaining wall is being constructed along the northbound berm of Gulf Road between Valley of the Eagles entrance and Tarry Lane which is just south of Whitman Boulevard.
The new local traffic restrictions will be in effect from December 5th to December 21st. The northbound lane of Gulf Road between Valley of the Eagles and Whitman Boulevard will be closed. During the day, 7:00am to 6:00pm the southbound lane will be open for northbound local traffic only on construction days. There will be no southbound traffic from Whitman Boulevard. After 6:00pm on construction days and the weekends there will be no pass through. The road will be completely closed between Valley of the Eagles and Tally Lane. All Valley of the Eagles, nearby residents and EMS, Fire & Police will gain access from the south (Gulf & Vista area.) On non-construction days and after 6:00pm, there will be no vehicle pass through. The residents of Tally Lane will gain access from the north (Gulf & Whitman Boulevard area.) EMS, Fire & Police response to the area Tally Lane would also need to gain access from the north.
