INCIDENT: PC 211 Armed Robbery

LOCATION: 22000 block of Barton Road, Grand Terrace

SUSPECT(S): Anthony Lopez-Bonilla, 21 years old, resident of Riverside
Johnny Motano, 24 years old, resident of Yucaipa
Larry Aikens, 30 years old, resident of San Bernardino

SUMMARY:
On November 29, 2018, Deputies from the Sheriff's Central Station, Grand Terrace patrol, responded to an armed robbery that occurred at the Stater Bros. The unidentified suspects entered the market , loaded up a basket filled with groceries and walked out of the store. Stater Bros. employees confronted the subjects and a fight ensued. During the altercation one of the subjects threatened to stab an employee with a knife. The subjects left the basket and fled in a truck waiting in the parking lot.

On November 30, 2018, Deputy Moreno conducted an area check, in the Highgrove area, for the vehicle used in the crime. Moreno contacted a subject that was identified as one of the suspects involved in the robbery. The suspect was identified as Anthony Lopez-Bonilla. Detectives from Sheriff's Central Station responded and assisted with the investigation. Detectives learned the vehicle may be in the San Bernardino area and conducted an area check. Detective Colombi located the truck in San Bernardino and took the remaining two suspects, Johnny Motano and Larry Aikens, into custody. The vehicle used in the crime was reported stolen out of Newport Beach.

All three subjects were arrested and booked into Central Detention Center for Armed Robbery.
