Sheriff's Office "No Shave November" raises over $5,000 for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital
Throughout November many of our residents and guests might have wondered why some of our male employees have had scruffy beards and why some of our female employees have had blue streaks in their hair. These Sheriff's Office employees were participating in "No Shave November" in support of St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
On November 30th, the Sheriff's Office's "No Shave November" campaign came to an end; all male participants have reverted back to shaving and all and female participants have removed the blue streaks from their hair.
As a result of our campaign, the Sheriff's Office collected $5,350 in donations from those who either decided to participate in "No Shave November" and from those who just wanted to support the amazing work being done at St. Jude's.
Yesterday, a check for $5,350 was written by administrators of the Sheriff's Office and mailed to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. We want to thank all of the Sheriff's Office employees and residents who supported our "No Shave November" campaign. We look forward to participating again in November 2019.
We will be posting photographs of our employees who participated in "No Shave November" on our Facebook page over the next several days https://www.facebook.com/BeaufortCoSO/
