...WINTER STORM WATCH NOW IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation possible. Total snow
accumulations of 2 to 4 inches with some potential over 4
inches. Ice accumulations of around a tenths of an inch are
expected with some potential of nearly two tenths of an inch.

* WHERE...The heavier snow accumulations will mainly be across
portions of southwestern Oklahoma, and western north Texas. The
ice accumulations are expected to extend from parts of southwest
Oklahoma and western north Texas into central Oklahoma.

* WHEN...From this evening through Saturday evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Slick areas may develop on roads in
southwest and central Oklahoma and western sections of north
Texas in areas where snow or ice accumulate, although conditions
will also vary depending on ground temperatures and the rate of
accumulation of snow and ice. Ice may accumulate on bridges and
overpasses, even where main roads do not freeze.
