The Bordentown City Police Dept has received grant funding to participate in the nationwide effort to deter drunk driving, “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over.” We will be conducting extra patrols between December 7th and January 1st during peak hours. Over the last five years New Jersey has experienced 38,000 alcohol related crashes resulting in more than 700 fatalities. We want everyone to enjoy the holiday season, however if you choose to drink you can avoid becoming a statistic by utilizing ride sharing apps, mass transit, taxis, or by designating a sober driver.
