The City of Marion urges the public to avoid traveling on Monday, December 10 unless absolutely necessary, in order to allow City crews to continue to make progress in clearing roads. If you must travel, please use extreme caution and drive slowly.
City Administrative Offices will be closed on Monday.
Due to the snow, the City of Marion will not collect brush the week of December 10-14.
To report problems, or for more information, please contact the Public Works Department at 652-4224 or City Hall at 652-3551. After 5:00 p.m., non-emergency calls and resource requests can be directed to the McDowell County Emergency Operations Center at 652-3241. For emergencies, please call 911.
