On Thursday, December 13, 2018 at about 6:00 A.M., a sexual assault occurred just south of the Lawrence Caltrain Station near Willow and Aster Avenue. An adult female victim was walking on the street towards the train station when an unknown male suspect grabbed her from behind and began groping her. The assault was interrupted by a passerby and the suspect fled westbound on Aster.
The suspect is described as a possible Hispanic male, approximately 5’7” with a medium build and wearing a maroon colored jacket.
Sunnyvale DPS Detectives are asking individuals to come forward that may have witnessed the assault, as well as residents with surveillance cameras in that general neighborhood.
