Boil Water Advisory due to fire hydrant failure and repair: The City of Flatwoods has issued a Boil Water advisory on Monday, Dec 17, 2018 for the following areas due to a fire hydrant failure and repair:
State Route 1458 at Thompson Rd to Route 5 including all side streets and subdivisions, Reed St including New Haven, Conlon, Clearwater, Shady Elm, Fountain St, Wilshire Rdg, & Luci Mae. Reid St from Fountain St to State Rt 207 and all side streets. State Rt 207 from Bellefonte Rd intersection to end of the Flatwoods water district on Rt 207, includes all side streets and subdivisions.
Water should be boiled for at least fine (5) minutes as a precautionary measure. The City of Flatwoods apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
