Alert

Dense Fog Advisory until 09:00AM Tuesday

The combination of near surface moisture, dry conditions immediately aloft, and light wind has contributed to the development of fog. Areas to widespread dense fog, with visibilities around 1/4 mile or less, will continue to develop over South Texas, except near the coast. Conditions will improve by mid morning Tuesday, as surface temperatures increase and result in the mixing of relatively drier from aloft. The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 9 AM CST this morning.

* VISIBILITY...One quarter mile or less.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous to motorists if precautions are not taken.

* AFFECTED AREAS: VICTORIA ... DUVAL ... LIVE OAK ... INLAND KLEBERG ... LA SALLE ... JIM WELLS ... INLAND REFUGIO ... MCMULLEN ... BEE ... GOLIAD ... INLAND CALHOUN ... INLAND NUECES ... INLAND SAN PATRICIO ... WEBB

Instructions:

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving...slow down... use low-beam headlights...and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
