Possession of Handgun and Drugs 
On Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 10:53pm a motor vehicle stop was conducted on a 2017 Toyota Camry on the White Horse Pike (US 30) near the intersection of Morton Ave. After further investigation, the vehicle was searched and both occupants were found to be in possession of a large sum of cash, a .44 magnum handgun, suspected marijuana, and drug paraphernalia including scales and baggies. The vehicle was impounded pending further investigation.
The driver, Roderick E. Sims 2nd 24 of Mays Landing, and the passenger, Shaheed B. Little 29 of Camden, were both arrested and charged with the following charges: Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, CDS Distribution, Conspiracy to Distribute CDS, Possession of Under 50 grams of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Failure to Make Lawful Disposition, Transportation and Possession of Criminal Proceeds, and Possession of a Firearm While Committing a CDS Offense. Both subjects were lodged into the Atlantic County Jail on their charges.
