* At 10:15 AM Friday the stage was 24.7 feet.

* Flood stage is 28.0 feet.

* Minor flooding is forecast.

* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by late this afternoon and continue to rise to near 29.3 feet tonight. The river will fall below flood stage by tomorrow morning.

* Impact...At 30.0 feet...Main Street is protected by flap valves/sluice gates. This level triggers the gate closures to protect Main Street.

* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 29.5 feet on Mar 11 1994.
