Here is the Saugus (Zone 4) Crime Information and Public Safety Report for November 26, 2018 – December 9, 2018:

11/21/18 -  Burglary (Residential) – 18000 block Runner Road
Unknown suspect(s) stole multiple tools from a closed storage shed. 

11/21/18 - Burglary (Commercial) – 23000 block Drayton Street
Unknown suspect(s) cut locks off gate, warehouse and stole multiple tools. 

11/28/18 - Burglary (residential) – 28700 block Placerview Trail
Unknown suspect(s) pried open sliding glass door and stole a small safe and a jewelry box. 

11/29/18 - Burglary (Commercial) – 26800 block Seco Canyon Road
Unknown suspect(s) shattered the front glass door and ransacked the business. Nothing was immediately noticed to have been stolen. 

11/29/18  Petty Theft / Dirk & Dagger – 22900 block Soledad Cyn Road Suspect was arrested for petty theft from an unlocked vehicle, as well as having a fixed knife concealed in his pocket. 

12/3/18  Burglary (Residential) – 22000  block Rolling Ridge Drive
Unknown suspect(s) entered the residence through the unlocked sliding glass door and stole misc. jewelry.

- Public Safety Tips -

As you can see from the above incidents, leaving your vehicle or residence unlocked while you are away, is not a good idea! If you are going to leave your vehicle for any amount of time, remember to lock it. If you are going to leave your residence for any amount of time, please lock all windows and doors.

As you are out for a walk or driving to or from your residence, look around and see if you notice anything suspicious. If you do, call the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station at (661) 255-1121. Our deputies are out in full force and have keen situational awareness but unfortunately, they cannot be everywhere at once. With your help/tips, we can keep Santa Clarita Valley safe.
