Flash Flood Warning until 05:15PM

The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Central Comanche County in southwestern Oklahoma...

* Until 515 PM CST.

* At 214 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen and an additional one to two inches of rain is likely. Flash flooding is occurring or is imminent.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Lawton, Geronimo, Medicine Park and eastern Fort Sill.

* AFFECTED AREAS: COMANCHE, OK

Instructions:

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
