Briefly gusty winds are expected over the next few hours as a band
of precipitation shifts to the east of the area. Some isolated
locations may see wind gusts in excess of 45 or even 50 mph for a
brief period of time before the winds slowly die down later this
afternoon. Winds of this magnitude may cause localized tree damage
and isolated power outages. Vehicles on east west highways should
exercise caution.
