* TIMING...The strongest winds are expected between 2 pm and 6 pm.
* WINDS...Gusts in excess of 50 mph are expected at times, before subsiding to around 35 mph.
* IMPACTS...High profile vehicles will have significant difficulty traveling. Several power outages have occurred due to the strong winds. Loose objects will be blown about. Minor damage to tree limbs is likely.
* AFFECTED AREAS: DOUGLAS ... SHELBY ... VERMILION ... PIATT ... MOULTRIE ... COLES ... CHAMPAIGN ... EDGAR
