DATE: December 21, 2018
LOCATION: 390 block, Park Hill Dr.
CASE #: 18-355-021
SUSPECT: Danieve Naranja, 18-year-old Milpitas resident
SUSPECT: Alexander Woo, 18-year-old Milpitas resident
SUSPECT: 17-year-old, male, San Jose resident
Vehicle: Grey 2012 Nissan Versa

On December 21, 2018, at 03:06 A.M., Milpitas Police officers responded to the 390 block of Park Hill Dr. regarding several people causing a disturbance. An officer arrived on scene and encountered Danieve Naranja, an 18-year-old Milpitas resident, acting odd, screaming and being restrained by witnesses. The officers were informed Naranja had possibly ingested the hallucinogenic drug, lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD). Naranja resisted arrest and it took several officers and witnesses to subdue him.

Another officer encountered a 17-year-old male, behind the wheel of a grey Nissan revving the engine, with a blank stare on his face, also appearing to be under the influence of drugs. He ignored officer’s commands and eventually had to be physically removed from the car to prevent him from driving away and hurting officers in close proximity. The male continued to resist during the arrest and an officer sustained a minor injury. A third male, Alexander Woo, an 18-year-old Milpitas resident, was discovered walking erratically in the middle of the street and also appeared to be under the influence of drugs. Officers attempted to contact him and he ignored commands to stop. Woo resisted arrest and was taken into custody after a brief struggle.

All three males were arrested and transported to the hospital for medical clearance due to their drug ingestion. Naranja and Woo were eventually cleared and booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail for resisting arrest, being intoxicated in public, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The 17-year-old male was issued a citation and released to his parents at the hospital.
