...Falling temperatures will lead to some icy conditions through
this evening...
Colder air will continue to sweep into the region in the wake of
a strong cold front. Wet and slushy roads and surfaces will
freeze as temperatures fall below freezing and through the 20s.
Lingering rain will mix with and then change to scattered snow
showers... with a brief period of freezing rain also possible as
this transition takes place.
If you plan to travel through this evening...remain alert for
deteriorating road conditions and ice formation on other surfaces.
