Local missing man, Jason Parker, has been located alive and well. 
Jason Parker, who was listed as a missing person on December 17th with the Vigo County Sheriff’s Office, has been located alive and well in Hardin County, IL.
Early this morning the Vigo County Sheriff’s Office received a tip that Parker had been given a ride today after having been found walking along a roadway in Southern IL. Parker had told the driver that he was searching for an acquaintance of his. The driver didn’t recognized who Parker was until he dropped him off. Once he realized who he had given a ride to, he immediately contacted Vigo County detectives and gave them the name of the acquaintance Parker was looking for.
Detectives contacted the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office and they were able to locate the acquaintance. After contact was made, it was found that Parker was going to stay at that residence.
Vigo County Detectives spoke with Parker confirming that he was okay.
