With very moist air in place, fog has been redeveloping over the last couple hours and visibility has already dropped below one mile in some places. Expect fog to become more dense as the evening progresses, causing visibility to drop to one quarter mile or less in spots. The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 8 AM CST Thursday.
