As part of a Sanitary Sewer Reconstruction project, H.M. Miller Construction and the City of Akron continue new water main installation along E. Mill Street between Lincoln Street and S. Union Street. Beginning tomorrow morning, Friday, January 4th, this stretch of E. Mill St. will need to be closed to all traffic. Eastbound traffic will continue to be detoured using E. Mill St., S. Broadway, E. Market St. and S. Union St. Westbound traffic will be detoured using S. Union St., E. Market St., S. High St. and E. Mill St. Because of the closure of the E. Mill St. and S. College St. intersection, northbound traffic on S. College St. will be detoured using E. Buchtel Ave. and S. Union St. This portion of the project is expected to be complete by Friday, January 11th.
