Synopsis: A 39 year old male suspect approached a 50 year old male victim and demanded his cellphone and car keys. The suspect told the victim he had a gun. The victim, in fear, gave the suspect his keys and phone. The suspect got into the victims Chevy Volt and tried to steal his car. After several attempts to steal the car he got out and ran away. While running away the suspect threw the keys and phone. Officers found the suspect a short distance away. He was positively identified as the suspect. 39 year old Robert Bustillos was arrested for carjacking and robbery. San Diego Police Robbery Detectives are investigating.
