Deputy arrests Donye Wade for felon in possession of a firearm and felon in possession of ammunition

LOCATION: W. Highland Ave/ N. State St. Ave, San Bernardino
SUSPECT: Donye Wade, 25 years old, resident of San Bernardino
SUMMARY:
On January 8, 2019, Deputy E. Fakhoury from the Sheriff's Central Station, conducted a traffic stop and contacted the passenger, identified as Donye Wade. During a search of the vehicle, a stolen, loaded firearm was located. The firearm was reported stolen in Upland a few months prior. Further investigation revealed Wade is a previously convicted felon and documented criminal street gang member.
Wade was arrested for PC 29800(A)(1) Felon in Possession of a Firearm and PC 30305(a)(1) Felon in Possession of Ammunition and booked into the Central Detention Center.
