The Cypress Police Department Special Investigations Unit served a search warrant and arrested four adults.
On Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at approximately 3:00 p.m., the Cypress Police Department Special Investigations Unit executed a search warrant in the 9000 block of Bloomfield, Cypress. This search warrant was the result of three-month long investigation into alleged prostitution taking place at the location. As a result of the of the search warrant, the above four individuals were placed under arrest as follows:
• Mozel McAfee was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, pandering for the purposes of prostitution, and pimping.
• Genevieve Fabela was arrested for possession of metal knuckles.
• Amber Woodson was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
• Julie Witherspoon was arrested for prostitution.
After further investigation, detectives determined that Mozel was operating an illegal house of prostitution, in which she facilitated, employed, and collected money from the prostitutes who worked for her at the location.
