The City of Folsom, in partnership with Sacramento, Yolo, and Placer Counties will be testing the regional emergency alert system on Tuesday, January 15. This alert system is a critical link for residents to immediately learn of any required actions, such as evacuating your homes during an imminent fire.
 
Sacramento Alert is only used to disseminate messages pertaining to the health, safety, or welfare of a community that is being affected by a perceived, imminent, or actual emergency event. To receive notifications on your mobile phone, or through email, sign-up at www.sacramento-alert.org. We are urging all Folsom residents to sign up for Sacramento Alert before the test date and time to ensure you are receiving potential emergency information.
