Press Release: Auto Theft Suspect Arrested

SUSPECT #1: Arthur Jack Carson, 31-year-old San Jose resident
SUSPECT VEHICLE: 2010 Blue Honda Accord

On January 9, 2019 at approximately 11:40 A.M., a resident called the Milpitas Police Department to report an occupied suspicious Honda Accord parked in a neighbor’s carport, in the 50-block of Pimentel Circle. Officers arrived and saw Carson sleeping inside the car. Officers found the car was stolen out of the City of San Jose, on January 3, 2019. Carson was cooperative and taken into custody.

Officers found drug paraphernalia, suspected crystal methamphetamine, and heroin in the car. Carson is on Santa Clara County Probation for theft-related violations. Carson was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail for possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, possession of stolen property, and a probation violation.
