Malibu Knolls residents allowed through Malibu Canyon road closure with ID 
Malibu Knolls residents with identification are being allowed through the road closure at Civic Center Way and Malibu Canyon Road.
Malibu Canyon Road was closed earlier this evening between Civic Center Way and Piuma Road following rock slides. Because crews are unable to conduct a risk assessment for further slides in the darkness, Malibu Canyon will remained closed at least through tomorrow morning, January 17.
Residents should drive cautiously during stormy weather conditions and watch for rocks, mud, and other debris in roadways.
