 FLASH FLOOD WARNING: A Flash Flood Warning has been issued for Northwestern Santa Barbara County, Santa Maria area. This means that flash flooding is occurring or imminent. A Flash flood is a sudden, violent, and fast-moving wall of water that can occur suddenly. Flash floods are extremely dangerous. Avoid low-lying areas, areas with standing water, and areas near creeks or streams. If you are in one of these areas, go to high ground or shelter in place.
