Jail Bond Scam 
The Vigo County Sheriff’s Office would like to make everyone aware of a jail bond scam. It has been reported that persons recently being released on bond, have been receiving phone calls stating additional funds are requested or they will be arrested. Please note this type of phone call should not be received. The Vigo County Sheriff’s Office will not call requesting additional funds. If you were to receive this type of call you may call the clerk’s office for an inquiry.
