HIT & RUN at PA Dutch County Resort 
A tractor trailer struck and demolished the guard house at the PA Dutch County Resort last night at 11:13 PM. The vehicle then fled from the scene.
The Resort is located along SR 72 in West Cornwall Township at the Lancaster County line. The tractor trailer, traveling north on SR 72, turned onto the entrance road for the Resort at 11:11 PM. The truck then crashed through the security gate and struck the guard house, completely demolishing it.
The truck drove further into the resort, turned around at the swimming pool, then fled. At this time we are unsure the direction the turned when it got back to SR 72.
The truck involved is a flatbed trailer.
Damage is in the thousands of dollars.
