WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FOR ATHENS COUNTY FROM MIDNIGHT SATURDAY, 1/19/19 TO 9AM SUNDAY, 1/20/19

·         WHAT - Wintry mix expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches and a light glaze of ice expected.

·         WHERE - Athens, Washington and Vinton Counties.

·         WHEN - From midnight Saturday night to 9 AM Sunday.

·         ADDITIONAL DETAILS - A wintry mix can be expected, changing to all snow late Saturday night. Plan on slippery road conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS:
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery roads and limited visibilities and use caution while driving.
