Incident Summary:
On January 18, 2019, at approximately 6:45 PM an unknown suspect entered the Target store in Petaluma. The suspect placed merchandise down his pants and attempted to leave the store. The suspect was confronted by a store employee who attempted to detain him. The suspect dropped the merchandise but punched the employee causing a minor injury. The suspect then fled on foot. The suspect appears to be a white male adult in his 30’s, with dark hair and a dark beard.
