Due to the anticipated snow storm, the Village has declared a Snow Emergency in the Village of Altamont commencing at 7 pm on Saturday, January 19, 2019, there will be NO parking on the Village Streets or in Village lots. The Snow Emergency will remain in effect until noon on Monday, January 21, 2019. Any vehicles not moved will be subject to ticketing and towing. Please note the Village of Altamont is taking precautionary measures to ensure the safety of all motorists and pedestrians and is kindly asking all residents to abide by the emergency parking notice. This proactive approach will assist in the ability to effectively remove snow and allow emergency vehicles to proceed down narrow streets if needed.
