Advisory

Travel Watch lowered to a Travel Advisory. Roads still slick in spots. Use caution. See web message for addl. info.

The Travel Watch has been lowered back to a Travel Advisory:
The lowest level of local travel advisory, means that routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of a hazardous situation, and individuals should use caution or avoid those areas.

Conditions on city and county roads have improved since late yesterday evening thanks to the work of the crews plowing the roads. Driving is manageable if taken slow and cautiously. It is NOT BACK TO NORMAL and with the freezing temperatures, road treatments will not be entirely effective until temperatures rise on Tuesday. If you get on the roads, please allow extra travel time and be vigilant as road conditions can change from intersection to intersection and mile to mile.
