Power Outage Update --January 21, 2019
From JCP&L: In addition to outages in Oxford and Washington Townships in Warren County, JCP&L is reporting an outage in Blairstown & Knowlton Townships affecting 391 customers. The outage is the result of downed trees and caused 3 broken poles, 6 spans of down wire and a downed transformer. Crews are onsite making repairs and the estimated time of restoration remains 9:00 am 1/21/19.
Please use caution when traveling today as high winds and icy conditions overnight may have left debris from broken trees on the roadways. Report any broken branches seen leaning on wires to JCP&L at 1-888-LIGHTSS. Since municipal offices are closed today due to the holiday, road obstructions can be reported to a member of the Knowlton Township Committee:
