Last night, Jan. 23, 2019, at 10:05 p.m., officers received a call regarding a shooting in the Sterling alley east of Wallace Avenue. They responded to the area and located a 46-year-old man with what appeared to be a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the head. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The crime scene was marked off and a perimeter search by officers did not locate any suspect(s).
The victim was treated and released from the hospital last night.
