Wind Chill Advisory until 01:00PM Friday

Lake effect snow will develop on Thursday night with a heavy southwest to northeast oriented band setting up near the Pennyslvania portion of the Lake Erie shoreline on Friday. Uncertainty remains in the exact position of this band but heavy snow will occur if the band moves onshore. The band will shift north over Lake Erie on Friday night. Southwest winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph can also be expected.

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills expected. Wind chills as low as 14 below zero expected.

* WHERE...Portions of north central, northeast and northwest Ohio.

* WHEN...From 6 AM to 1 PM EST Friday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Much colder air will spread into the region before sunrise and continue to drop temperatures into the middle of the morning with a slow recovery toward noon.
